Link FM
Link FM is Haverings' longest established radio station, a truly
'Open Access' broadcast organisation. It has offered in excess
of 10,000 local people the opportunity to be involved in programme
making or just coming to see how it works.
Whilst on the air, Link FM is buzzing with the excitement and
enthusiasm displayed by its volunteers, while presenting a professional
output.
Link FM is inclusive and the only radio station able to cater
for the vast number of guests that visit. Our broadcast philosophy
has made radio more accessible - as it should be. Radio is not
for the privileged few but for the whole community.
As accomplished broadcasters, we have provided an exciting format
of music, chat and information to the people of Havering. Link
FM is the place to showcase talent, air your views or to get
involved in a variety of different ways.
Link FM is dedicated to bringing programmes "to the community,
for the community, by the community".
We have recently been awarded a full time community radio licence
in the Havering area and will be expanding our volunteer team
in order to get ready for launch early in 2007.
